I've decided to do this one first, because I know more about it than all the others, and will have to do the least amount of research on it. I will be covering the following subheadings:
Clothing/Accessories
Hair
Makeup
Personality
OtherClothing and Accessories:First off, wear as many accessories as you feel comfortable in. But do not go overboard, like having 40 kandi bracelets on each arm. (Kandi is bracelets/necklaces made of those colorful beads that kids generally wear.) But DO wear a lot, at least 5-8 on each wrist. Or you can wear jelly bangles, or wristbands, or whatever kind of mostly cheap or semi-cheap bracelets and necklaces. Adding cute charms (like from a keychain, other necklace, or even those plushie things.) to them makes them all the more scene. As for clothing, sure skinny jeans and graphic/band tees with converse, bands, or ballet flats; but also tutus, tank tops, leggings, shirt dresses, layered tops, interestingly patterned tops, tights, or pants, and pretty much anything else will do
except super super preppy clothes like pink lacey tops and skirts, white tights, flowery patterned skirts, or maxi dresses. Anything that is colorful, black (not all at once), or expresses anything about YOU.HairForget everything anyone said that scene hair has to be teased. That is definately an iconic look and you should sometimes, but it can be very damaging to your hair. Especially if you're going to be bleaching, dying, straightening, and blow drying your hair. On to color; If you can't or don't want to bleach/dye your hair, you can use your natural hair color, or use extensions or hair chalk. If you would like to do fun colors on your hair, but don't have really light blonde hair, then you should bleach it first. Be very careful, read all directions, or just have a professional do it. When dying, just follow directions, and be thorough. As for cut, side bangs and layering are great. Long or Short, colored, natural, blonde, black, any bangs, no bangs. This style is all about being yourself. MakeupEyeliner is a must, mascara or fake lashes, and colorful eyeshadowis good. The eyes and hair are the main focus, so keep lips light. Or, alternatively you could do very dramatic lips, like red, purple, or black.PersonalityMOST IMPORTANT. If you don't relate to this, you will be seen a a poser or "just some weirdo with awesome style." You need to be nice, cute, sort of childish, and sort of rebellious (not like a rule breaker, but just the style, spiky and dark), and most of all, be original!OtherBeing a vegetarian is very scene.
Watching/doing/having/using/liking kiddish things is widely scene.
Type cutsie, like use kitty smileys, use shortcuts, and act innocent.BE YOURSELF.
